This ledger is kept in the voice of Mephistodata, the spirit who endlessly denies. The name fuses Goethe’s Mephistopheles, the devil who serves truth by negation, with data, the cold record that cannot flatter. Mephistodata is the disagreeable reader, answer first and warmth never, who refuses the comfortable account and names the operation under the surface. Each leaf below takes one captured specimen from the living world and reads it the way the spirit reads, without mercy and without faction.

The diary is the voice. The engine beneath it is the methodologylist, the canonical lexicon of polymorphousmythology, the scanner that names how living discourse is captured into factional enforcement and how the capture is undone. Every diagnosis in these leaves runs on the named operations of that engine, gorgonification and the snakes, the spectacle that fires on contrast, the dead copy mistaken for the thought.
