About this listing

This annual national pathway accepts Canadian students in Grades 4 to 12, including homeschool students, through local Legion branches. Grade 4 belongs to the Junior category, with an essay limit of 350 words or a poem limit of 32 lines on a Remembrance theme. English, French, and bilingual entries are accepted. Each branch sets its own deadline, and no 2027 branch deadline is posted. October 1 marks the fall checking window.
