DESCRIPTION:CNIB confirms that 2027 submissions will open in early 2027. 
 The exact opening day and deadline remain pending. Canadian students in 
 Kindergarten through Grade 12 who are blind\, Deafblind\, or have low vi
 sion may submit an original braille short story\, essay\, or poem in Eng
 lish or French\, up to 4\,000 words. Grade 4 belongs to the Grades 3 to 
 5 group. January 1 is an estimated opening-window marker.
