How BB is played

1. Choose the anchor text. A story, poem, article, speech, myth, play, film, image, song, game, or historical document becomes the world.
2. Make wormcards. Each player builds a burrowing character who can step through pages, mirrors, screens, images, and other thresholds.
3. Give the wormcards to the Dimensional Master. The teacher runs the table, keeps the source protected, and decides what reaches the players.
4. Open the burrow without breaking the source. Play happens around, before, after, beside, and through the world the text or medium makes possible.
5. Turn assignments into quests. A letter, journal, debate, research note, paragraph, map, scene, or reflection gives the character something to gain, repair, unlock, or risk.
6. Let academic quality drive consequence. There are no dice. Reading care, writing quality, research, revision, and discussion decide what the world can return.
7. Let time matter. Quest windows can open, close, echo later, or become repair paths depending on what the player finishes and how well it is done.
8. Record the adventure as learning. The table leaves with written work, quests completed, scars, discoveries, open problems, and stronger reasons to keep studying.
