Bookwormcard is the character gate for BookwormBurrows
BB is the game. Bookwormcard is how a player becomes a character inside it. The page asks reflective questions, turns answers into a wormcard, and gives the player a portable PDF they can bring into BookwormBurrows, a classroom session, or a teacher-led BB session.
What it makes
A handle, burrowing animal, admired people, character traits, tensions, and short writing answers.
A printable and resumable wormcard that carries the player’s paragraphs.
A bridge from describing yourself into BB’s reading, writing, and role-play game.
Sample prompts
What should I call you?
Name someone you admire.
What quality do you want from them?
What fear, bond, flaw, or secret should your character carry?
How BB is played
Pick a book, poem, story, article, scene, or document.
Make a wormcard.
Give the wormcard to the Dimensional Master. The teacher runs the table and decides what reaches the players.
Enter the text-world, complete assignments as quests, and write what happened.
Before you play
Use ESL for plain-language help under the current question.
Use A− and A+ for readable text size.
Use Light/Dark for theme and HC for high contrast.
Type static during play to use the quiet card builder with no optional feedback layer.
Privacy/data note. Bookwormcard saves checkpoints in your browser so you can resume. Longer answers can be processed by the optional feedback layer while that layer is active. The final card opens as a PDF/print file for you to save. Links: about, glossary, blank card.
Step 1: make your wormcard
You will answer questions, pick a burrowing animal, and build a character for playing inside a book-world. You can skip most questions. At the end, save your wormcard as PDF.
Pick a text. Book, poem, story, article, or scene.
Make this card. It becomes your burrowing character.
Give it to the Dimensional Master. The teacher runs the table and may use AI for tracking.
Enter the text-world. The story stays protected while you play in the world around it.
Complete quests. Assignments become motivated actions inside the game.
Write and grow. Your work changes what happens next.
