What the work covers
Leizu connects subjects that school systems often separate. A student preparing an OSSD English essay, an IB Extended Essay, a history inquiry, a Theory of Knowledge response, or a university application usually needs the same durable capacities: close reading, source evaluation, a defensible argument, precise prose, and the confidence to revise.

How sessions work
Each session begins with the student’s actual work. That may be a reading, an assignment, a research question, an exam, a draft, or a problem that has resisted quick solutions. The session makes the task visible, gives it structure, and leaves the student with a next move they can carry independently.

One student, one course of work, and direct feedback shaped around the immediate task and the habits behind it.
Small seminars
For students ready to learn in company, where a shared text and serious discussion deepen the work beyond private study.
Pricing and availability
Leizu publishes its starting plan before an intake begins. The Starter Block is four 90-minute sessions at $120 CAD per session. Term and Forest Year plans appear on the main Leizu page with their current terms. Forest Year enrolment is limited to a small number of families each year.

Questions parents and students ask
Do you offer in-person tutoring in Toronto?
Online sessions are the default. Ongoing Toronto students can arrange in-person sessions after the first few meetings when the format suits both sides.
Can Leizu help with both OSSD and IB?
Yes. Leizu supports OSSD-aligned work and IB Diploma study, while teaching the transferable reading, research, writing, and argument skills that both require.
Can a student begin with one urgent assignment?
Yes. The Starter Block begins with the work in front of the student, then turns that task into a clearer plan for the next one.
What happens before payment?
The intake form establishes the student’s course, goals, and immediate needs. Current policies and pricing are available before a payment link is used.
