Students create physical still images of key story moments: the purse-snatch, Mrs. Jones holding Roger by his shirt, Roger washing his face at the sink, the moment Mrs. Jones gives Roger the money. Teacher taps individual students to voice their character’s thoughts (thought-tracking). In bookwormburrows: freeze frames are the session recap mechanism (re-entry beat at the start of each ordinary session per the session-start protocol). They make the transition from player-world to dimension-world physical.
